The energy simulation was carried out in accordance with Appendix G of the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 standard, to verify compliance and performance of the EA: Minimum Energy Performance and EA: Optimize Energy Performance in order to analyze the thermal behavior of different measures and reduce energy demand to a minimum.
This recently built medical building integrates various strategies that, in addition to reducing its environmental footprint due to its reduced consumption of energy, water and resources, provides an improved interior quality for its occupants compared to conventional constructions of similar characteristics and has established strict operating policies sustainable.
